It's also, I think, very important because this was the first time where media banded together to try and put their foot down to stop the abuse that this president has been dealing to them.

I think a lot of Americans, you know, they watched in the first term, whether it was Jorge Ramos get thrown out of a press conference or manhandled out or the way that he would go at April Ryan or Jim Acosta or any number of black or female reporters in the White House press pool.

And they wondered, when are you going to stick up for one another? When are you all going to push back? And so it was very encouraging to see the networks push back this time.

And that's difficult for them because, hey, this is a newsworthy event.

My next guest knows a little something about Trump's relentless attacks on the press.

In 2015, Jorge Ramos, then an anchor for Univision, was kicked out of Trump's news conference after pressing Trump on his calls for mass deportations.

Excuse me.

He doesn't like the same people I don't like.

So I think to a lot of Hispanic men, he was more authentic than an elite like Jorge Ramos on Univision.

They had more in common with Trump.

And they had more in common with... a white guy who was a truck driver or a black guy who was a plumber than either of those guys did with their elites.
