Jorge Costa

I played with Fischer

and George Costa as well, because he was a Portuguese international.

Maybe they left it off because they didn't want the gag I just told.

It's a unique situation.

And he's made it 2-0.

Deco, Costinha, Paulo Ferreira, Jorge Costa, Nuno Valente.

Individual names that molded into one unstoppable team known for its press, its intensity, its lethal precision, and its trophies.

Jose Mourinho's side hold on, and they win the UEFA Cup.

Portuguese, Portuguese and, and Portugal, we're very lucky to be in a position where we can have a competitive team without Ronaldo.

Remember, Ronaldo was playing with Fernando Couto and, and, and Jorge Costa and all these old people in 2000s and carrying the team on his back, scoring the goals when we need it, right? Being a top player in the world.

Yeah.

And now that we have this team all around him, we have to figure out a way that how can we use him, right? He can finish in the box.

Yeah, a huge shift there.

He praised a team that never bowed, paid deep respect to the late club legend Jorge Costa, and specifically highlighted the humanity of their manager, Farioli.

It shows the machinery of club football churning forward, and you see that in the transfer market too with Juventus actively looking to steal Doumbia away from sporting.

Right.

Rui Costa was benched and accepted the role off the bench and became productive off the bench.

Yeah, as Rogerio was saying, George Costa was also, is that the Costa that you're referring

to,

Rogerio? Probably, yeah.
