Jörg Lau

What, what, uh, can you explain to our listeners, uh, what they should be looking out for in the next few days and weeks and, and what might happen?

Yeah, I recommend the previous podcast that we, um, recorded, um, together with Jörg Lau from Die Zeit, because we had different opinions, and I think it was a very good podcast, so maybe people want to listen to it again.

It's basically about, uh, rumors in the CDU that, uh, Merz, uh, is now so weak and lost the support of his own people that some people in, in the CDU, um, started thinking about replacing him with the very prominent and still quite successful Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, uh, Hendrik Wüst.

Th- that, that is still a possibility, but, but we have to see.

Thank you very much, Jana.

And as Jana said, you can go back in the archive and listen to the two podcasts we recorded on Germany, uh, a few weeks ago, including the one with her and Jörg Lau.

We'll put links up to all of these things in this episode's show notes and on our website at ecfr.eu.
