Jordan, how is President Xi's visit going so far?

They're hookers.

He, so they, they started doing the thing on daily show where, uh, after Trevor Noah left, uh, it was like a guest host every single day, like a different person every day.

And now it's like a rotating cast of like, so Jon Stewart hosted on Mondays, but then let's like Jordan Klepper on Tuesdays and like the other daily show correspondents all have different days, uh, which I think makes it easier on Jon Stewart's, uh, schedule, which means he could probably keep doing it, which is nice.

Um, but, Yeah.

Anyway, uh, other scenes in the faculty, I think the, I, we haven't really talked to the opening too much, but, uh, the opening seems a lot of fun to where, uh, it's like Robert Patrick's the, uh, evil bug person.

We all feel so crazy and lonely in this world that sometimes you listen to a Bob Dylan song and you're like, does anybody else hear it this way? Does anybody else see that one beautiful, crystallized idea that I think is being spoken right to me? And you find that one pal who's like, I was on that same message board.

I do see it.

Jordan, why is the FBI director talking about bestiality at a congressional hearing?

[laughs]

Disgusting.

So we've had recently on this show a couple of daily show hosts.

We had Jordan Klepper and Josh Johnson.

And I know that you're sort of like an honorary daily show contributor now.

So I thought we could do the same thing we did with them, which I started with just a few news stories from the summer, the past few weeks, just to get your quick reactions to them.

So I have so much confidence in the piece.

It always comes off really good.

Yeah, there was a moment there when you were guest hosting and you did some, I think, guest hosting with Jordan Klepper, sort of co-hosts, where it seemed like it might be a gig for you.

Was that something that you wanted at the time that you were kind of going for? Or how did you think about it?

It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Um, Jordan Klepper always, you know, Jordan Klepper, Klepper from The Daily Show.

He's he's he's so good at letting people sort of hang themselves out to dry.

And some of his some of his bits from his series that he does are just like are just perfect when it comes to that.
