I did that on TalkSport the other day.

On TalkSport, I was talking about the cricket and I had to say that Jordan Cox was replacing Joss Butler behind the stumps for England.

And I said, Jordan Cox, he'll be the one with the gloves replacing Joss Parker behind the stumps for England.

I was like...

I've promoted the keeper to England.

And then once, you know, once Brook is out, you're looking to rebuild.

Jordan Cox didn't really... make much of it today there was a strange sort of shot looking to guide it and he hit it straight to slip so England suddenly what 52 for 4 and then Ben Duckett who he's not looked in he's not looked in that same sort of dominant confident form this year.

But he has made, I think, 300s now, hasn't he? And, you know, fine innings today just on the ground in which he made a big 100 against Australia in the Champions Trophy.

So, you know, that was one of the positives for England.

I mean, his off spinner is terrific, but also his arm ball is phenomenal.

I think he got two or three wickets off the arm ball under Rashid and I believe Jordan Cox.

And the delivery to Harry Brooke, probably my favorite Arafat Benaz till now.

He bowled a similar delivery on ODI debut against Cameron Green, who's also one of the

I'd argue you're also missing some players.

You know, Butler's not there through injury, so Jordan Cox has got the gloves.

You know, Butler's, yes, he's had a bit of a, you know, you could say a decline over the last few years, but he, you know, he's still world-class.

I'd potentially, for a World Cup, you know, look at someone like Joffra.

The all-rounder made a crucial 59 with the bat and then bamboozled England by taking 6 for 40 with his left arm spin.

Last to bat, Pakistan were 190 for 5 in the 37th over when diving wicketkeeper Jordan Cox put down Arafat on 12, one of three catches that England dropped.

Arafat, alongside a powerful 79 from Hassan Nawaz, lifted Pakistan to 302 for 9.

Faced with them making the second highest score to win an ODI at the Royal Pindy Stadium, England made a rapid start to the chase, only for further errors to let Pakistan back in.

At 91 without loss, Ben Duckett top-edged a pull to depart for 45 and crucially Tom Banton was caught for 57 when he shoveled Arafat's long hop, to mid-wicket.

Arafat's final all-round performance continued with a beautiful delivery to bowl England captain Harry Brook for 5 and Nassim Shah got one to keep low to bowl out Joe Root for 33.

When Jordan Coxford's LBW and Jamie Overton holed out both of Arafat, England were floored.

They spluttered to 215 all-out, losing their last seven wickets for 50 runs, capped by a calamitous run-out of Gus Atkinson.

Pretty good side.

I mean, Root, Brook, Sam Curran, Jordan Cox is there.

Three to six.

So it should be doing a bit better than that, but didn't.

You went middle order to opener.

How was the transition from that? And what was it like going in as that middle order to then stepping up to the top? Because there's quite a few players in the modern day game now, and we'll probably ask you a bit more about the opening spot in a bit, but there's a lot of talk about specialists as an opener in international cricket now, and England especially are looking at potentially going away from an opener in Emilio Gueye and picking one of Jacob Bethel or Jordan Cox as an opener.

You went from middle order to open.

How was that?

I've always believed that an opener is a specialist sport, and I don't think you can tinker with that.

I think you have to have somebody... who has value to get you off to a good start, oversee the brand new ball and all the characteristics you need with it.

Where do you sit with the way the game's changing and the way the game's going? Do you believe that people like a Jordan Cox from England's point of view or a Jacob Bethel could open the baton? Or do you still believe that the Sir Alistair Cook type or the Emilio Gueye type that's batting there now has a huge more qualities than people are giving them credit for?

I think a lot of the time when you pick your 11, your openers have to be your specialists and your batters that formulate around that, that formulate around your opening call.
