Jonny Lomax

I think many people would have thought from game one to game two, there'd be a host of changes and there wasn't.

I think it was Johnny Lomax who sat in that seat last week who said, you want an opportunity to be better if you've not had a great game or you've lost a game the week before.

Now, we've won a really comfortable game this week, which tells me that when you think he won't change the team, he does.

So, you know, trying to second guess him, I've said it a million times on this show, Sean, that when you're trying to second guess Brian Madem, it's so difficult because he's his own man and he's got his own beliefs and his own philosophies.

However, I'm not gonna criticize that too much considering they've had very, very minimal time together.

Our main issue for me, and I've heard a couple of people like Johnny Lomax, like Kevin Brown, uh, say that, you know, they thought that the, the two halves had great games.

Well, I'm sorry, I was watching that game.

I did not see that.

But certainly those at Salford, they really, really speak highly of Paul Rowley.

Jonny Lomax I used to coach.

I have coached James Roby in a rep game, and Kevin Brown I know personally.

And they were talking about their time under Wayne Bennett when he was the England coach.

Um, yeah, it-- I, I think for those guys, you know, to take me under their wings and, and show me as a young front rower, uh, you know, what it took, um, then being able to use that and go ahead, uh, with it and, you know, I, I remember having that thought it, um, that, you know, it was a great opportunity to kind of make the position mine and, and, um, you know, become, uh, a regular in the, in the side, so.
