Johnny explains how that relationship unfolded.

Steve 2 tells me that Scott was promising Steve 2 he could bu- bust him out of jail, get him down to Mexico, and he could get his girlfriend LeAnn down there with some money.

All Steve 2 had to do was before he goes to Mexico is kill his wife, who's the mom of his two children.

But then, of course, that's the one where Kimball, as soon as he gets out of prison, tells on Steve 2 and says, "He's trying to escape.

You better lock him down." So they lock him down so he can't call, so then LeAnn disappears.

S- so Scott uses her for 30 days here in Denver to go around and write bad checks, and LeAnn had not committed criminal acts in her life before.

But Scott had convinced her that she needed to do this so she and Steve Holley could live in Mexico.

It was a test of who he was outside of it.
