We know what the director has to say about Starfighter, but what about the screenwriter? Any clues that we can glean from, uh, one Jonathan Tropper?

All right, this is Tropper, and he was, uh, with Deadline talking about some behind-the-scenes Starfighter stories.

So I guess Tropper was on the set a good bit.

And they, and they create something based on things like research and passion and, and the key word, inspiration.

To, to create something, it's just like you gotta make a Star Wars and you gotta do it now.

And, uh, for some reason, we're picking you, Shawn, and you, Jonathan Tropper, to, to be the ones.

One other story that we've kind of been sitting on for a little while has to do with Star Wars Starfighter, the upcoming movie directed by Sean Levy, starring Ryan Gosling and written by Jonathan Tropper.

I bring up Jonathan because he was interviewed by Deadline back in August.

Um, no offense to Jonathan Tropper.

I, I, I'm sure this is just a line he's been given to say by a P by the, uh, the, the marketing teams at Disney.

There has been, uh, after D23, there's been some, uh, interviews with Shawn Levy and the writer of the movie, uh, Jonathan Tropper.

Um, and uh, there's been a couple of interesting pieces of ins- uh, information that have come out of that.

Um, and I wanted to specifically, uh, pick this out, which was from an interview that Shawn Levy did with Fandango.

Lucky is a crime thriller television miniseries created by Jonathan Tropper for Apple TV.

The show is loosely based on Marisa Stapley's 2021 novel of the same name.

Lucky premiered on the 15th of July, 2026.
