So I think Mark Bowman, using him and adjusting him in motion a lot, his pulls, his reach blocks continue to be very impressive.

And I really liked what I saw at the end of the game, Deshaun Rideau getting that touchdown on kind of a broken midline option replay with Jonas Williams.

And the reason why I like it Not because it was clean or necessarily – it was probably drawn up fine, but it wasn't necessarily executed the way it was supposed to be drawn up.

Deshaun Riddle still made that touchdown run pure speed.

But sometimes if you want to be an elite team, you've got to have a guy that can just make something out of nothing.

And Deshaun Rodos has basically said, you know what, I'm faster than these Fresno State guys.

I'm just going to – the ball and run to that pylon and he outran everybody and that was nice to see because it was really him doing that and creating that and you think okay now you get that play with a little better setup and it's blocked better and maybe Jonas Williams reads it a little better you're going to have some big plays because he has that big play ability

Great stopping point.

And then USC did that over and over and over with them.

How about Jonas Williams coming in? You know, he throws the interception.

That's his last play, really, of the last game.

And, you know, everyone's kind of poo-pooing the backups and the way they played in the fourth quarter of that San Jose State game.

I think it was, what, six or six in this game.

So I thought it was a really nice bounce back from him to be able to get there.

And I love the fact that when Deshaun Rodeau scores, like that Jonas Williams, now I know he's the – probably the closest one on that side of the field because he, you know, it was a option play and he kind of played out the option, but the sprinting over there to be able to give the personalized handshake with Deshaun Rodeau.

So the camaraderie you see with this group, it definitely stands out with how much they enjoy everyone else having success.

Another subplot.

Jonas Williams, nice step forward.

Oh, yeah.

Six of six.

And he did that.

He didn't make the Jonas Williams mistake from last week.

You know what I mean?

He had two incompletions in this game and both of them were that.

But this is why you have to feel good about bringing back a senior veteran starter.

Yeah.

Because this is the kind of performance that a guy who has started a bunch of games in this system, that has been around the block, who has made the mistakes that Jonas Williams did and learned from them.

Yes.

Anyways, uh, tight end you got Mark Bowman, then you got Tucker Ashcraft or Carson Tabarochi or, uh, Timilo, uh, Tupou.

At quarterback easy enough you got Jaden Maiaba, Sam Huard, or Jonas Williams.

Sam Huard was not in uniform last week if I remember correctly.

Running back it's again, 1A, 1B.

So No, we should be excited.

Even Jonas Williams looked okay.

I'm not concerned about Maieva.

I mean, he is what he is.

He's not some sort of perfect prospect, but in this class, I mean, he could certainly emerge as a guy this season.

But I will say that Jonas Williams, a guy that I've liked, he got out there and yes, he did end up throwing an interception, but everything else looked very good from him.

So I guess at the end of the day, that's good.

He's getting a little bit of playing time.
