Well, yeah, I'd love to know if there's any sort of Jonah Pezet-esque, um, clauses in that deal.

We, we couldn't keep Kobe 'cause Jonah was coming." Tell us, tell the Broncos fans about what you know of Jonah Pezet and how you expect him to go there.

And at that point he was at the Broncos, he was all in, and he, he looked down the barrel of the camera and said, "You know, I'm all in at the Broncos.

That's where I wanna be, uh, for the rest of life." And you know, we obviously heard, uh, him talk over the last few months, some comments around Michael McGuire and the Brisbane Broncos and how he didn't feel like he was treated overly well up there, and then made a decision to go sign Jonah Pezet.

And I sorta thought at the time, Sowwy, I thought, "Geez, I know, I know what Kobe's like as a kid.

This is an interesting decision.

There has to be more to this." Especially for him to- Like, it just didn't make sense for him to go, "Okay, I am...

I'm gonna sit behind Jonah Pezet, I'm gonna throw the toys out of the cot and leave, and then I'm gonna go sit behind Ethan Sanders at the Canberra Raiders." There was always more to it.

He's been very patient all year.

Ricky Stuart's just progressed him nicely down there in New South Wales Cup.

I'm not saying anything is r- bad or good about him, but it's like, "Oh, let's keep, let's keep Ben Hunt and Adam Reynolds around for another year."

A huge performance from him.

You might remember from the start of the season, Jonah Pezet left the Melbourne Storm.

He was rumoured to be going to the Broncos.

He signed a one-year deal with Parramatta before going to Brisbane after that.

Jonah Pezet probably not worked out due to, due to injuries.

That raised a lot of eyebrows, especially with what they did with, um, Dylan Brown at the end of his time there, which I actually thought was the best thing to do.

Um, but again, with Jonah Pezet coming in, I didn't think the Eels were gonna play finals this year.

Who benefits from that? Well, Brisbane.

Mm.

Brisbane are the major benefactors from it.

Like, the team don't gain anything from Jonah Pezet playing well.

Uh, you know what? You know, he, he had a go and he still has a great relationship with the players that he has.

He kept a real niche, sort of small, uh, company where he'd only ha- have like, you know, Cameron Munster, Jonah Pezet, think he made a couple of golfers.
