Jon Kent

I do have Superman, though, and I could continue to round out the super family.

I'm going to go with Superboy John Kent, which is Lois and Clark's son.

Not worried about you taking that from me, but I just like the family.

I'd like to round it out a little bit more.

So if there was something and I could partner with James Gunn or Zack Snyder or whomever, something in the DC universe, uh, and I can play somebody with, I know that David Cornswain is doing a great job with Superman.

So don't want to take that from him, but yeah, If there was a Superboy spinoff, a Jonathan Kent spinoff, I love the Superboy, the son of Kal-El comics that are out right now.

I think they're new and exciting and also have that classic Superman feel.

So that would be great if I could manifest Superboy.

Who are they?

They're one of the Superboys, who-

[laughs]

... who are Superman's successors sometimes.

And then I think it was Booster Gold mentioned something about Krypton, and Clark Kent's like, young Clark Kent was like, "What's Krypton?" So in this storyline, he, uh, Clark Kent is trapped in the past on Krypton, and he's got to, uh, break loose and, um, take on Zod.

But the thing I like, this cover also features, um, Tomorrow Man, uh, and, um, I, I think the whole idea, I think part of this was we introduced this, this, it looked like it was young Jon Kent, but it was actually the Earth-3 version of, it was Ultraman's son, not Superman's son.

And, um, so our Jon Kent took on this identity of Tomorrow Man to disguise himself, but I think it's a pretty cool costume.

Um, I kind of like it, and I, I think it's less confusing than calling him Superman also.

Um-

... a gladiator outfit.

And then like a year later, uh, Jon Kent, son of Superman, was at the house, and he was looking for something, and he opened up a, a closet in the bedroom, and it was hanging there, and Lois came in and slammed the door shut, and she's like, "That's just for me and your dad."

[laughs]

And so clearly Lois liked that outfit, so.

But it is very much more a Bizarro character than Connor Kent is.

And then we also get like a little bit of a Connor Kent inspired version of Superboy later, sort of a mashup of the Connor Kent and the John Kent characters as Superboy.

So my apologies.

You read that situation more right than I did.

And I'm like, I really, I don't know.

Because he was a little older than John Kent.

Then they aged him up.

And then since then, they don't know what they want to do with Damien.

and John might concur.

When I saw it solicited in the DC Connect a couple months ago, I saw the cover and And I'm like, that looks like Wes Craig.

And then I read the credits and I was like, okay.

And a couple weeks ago, The first week you were out, I did a quick speed through of the Reign of the Superboys, which went through all of the Superman and Supergirl books.

And that was because it was Reign of the Superboys because following DC KO, Superman was away.

So all his books had to feature either Superboy Prime or John Kent or Conor.

Or Supergirl, so you didn't have Kal-El, Clark Kent, Superman wasn't actually in any of the books for a few months.
