There were a few things I love.

I love that you, surrounded by Larry Goldings and John Cowherd, that you play piano on the songs where it makes sense for you to play piano on this record.

I also love that Larry Klein plays bass on this record a little bit, because...

As you say, he's a great bass player, but he also knows when to stay out of the way and let somebody else play the instrument.

Of course, Brian Blade, the drummer, but is also listed as an acoustic guitar player on this album.

Melvin Butler on tenor and soprano saxophones, John Cowherd on producer, piano, pump organ, Fender Rhodes, Dave Easley, Daniel Linus, Joni Mitchell's on one of the tracks at the end of the album, Kurt Rosenwinkel on acoustic guitar, which is what I heard there, Christopher Thomas on bass, and Myron Walden on bass clarinet and alto sax.

So there's a lot of love.
