But first, in sixth place, I have the second installment of Bruce Wayne Not Super, one of the weirdest graphic novels out of DC, by Stuart Gibbs and Barrett Peckmelly.

And this is set in an alternate continuity where Bruce Wayne is the only non-superpowered student attending a school for superheroes that his parents founded before they were killed.

The first book was really broadly silly and over the top and had some iffy characterization for the other heroes, including Clark kind of being a minor bully at the school.

But I feel like the second one fixes some of those issues a little with higher stakes.

As Bruce is now beginning his career as Batman, even though no one can identify his handmade costume, what animal it's supposed to be, they keep calling him Gopher Man.

Meanwhile, new student Jack Napier is assembling his own gang of students to start committing crimes around the city at the behest of headmaster Hugo Strange.

How did the Waynes approve this guy to run the school? I don't

know what to say.
