Johnson University

It was the second college campaign that I'd ever done.

And it was with what was then called Johnson Bible College, now Johnson University in Knoxville.

Okay.

David Eubanks was the president then.

What can a brand new university president teach us about stepping into leadership, earning trust, and leading an institution you already love? Listen as Daniel Overdorf, president of Johnson University, shares what he's learned and experienced in his first two years as a college president.

Thank you for tuning in today.

I'm your host, Philip Dearborn, president of ABHE.

And my guest today is Daniel Overdorf.

Daniel is the president of Johnson University, who I'm pretty sure Johnson was, if not in the founding group, one of the first groups that were part of ABHE way back.

They have a rich, rich history of preparing students, the next generation of leaders, and they've been such an incredible contributor to ABHE and have been so friendly towards us.

But my guest, Daniel Ovedor, took the presidency a couple of years ago, and he was on the faculty there at Johnson.

Yeah, you're welcome.
