Johnson State College

Thank you so much for listening.

So first met Bob back in the early 2000s up at Johnson State College and in and around their music scene, house parties, bands playing.

And we had some mutual friends, close friends that played in a band together.

And we'd be watching and listening and just enjoying it.

Which one did you end up going to?

I ended up going to this very small state school.

At the time, it was called Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont.

It's this beautiful area.

And at the end of that summer season, we decided to go to Scotland, which is where he came from.

So I didn't finish Johnson State College.

I went to Scotland and I worked at many different jobs, odd jobs in Scotland because I was not, I didn't have a visa over there.

You started the Skinny Goose six years ago? Yeah.

And soccer was honestly my connection and one of the real connections that I made just playing men's leagues games and just sticking with the sport and loving it.

And Over time, long story very short, I went back to Johnson State College.

When I went back to school, I started playing college soccer again.

I was fit and I was ready.

I went down to Boston University and got a master's degree in coaching.

I spent six years on the men's side at Newberry college.

I spent another six or seven years back here at Johnson state college coaching, both the men's and women's teams that we started as Johnson state.

And then we moved to Northern Vermont university and then the, you know, Vermont state university.
