Johnny Dangerously

...

Johnny Dangerously.

Yeah.

Yep.

Um-

Yes

... also with Michael Keaton, just like Johnny Dangerously.

He was in, um, God, he, he, he's been in so many movies.

Anthony Michael Hall and Uma Thurman.

I'm thinking of Johnny Dangerously with Michael Keaton.

That's a different movie.

Different Johnny.

Excellent.

I don't know if you've actually said this quote on the actual podcast before, Jay, but there's a quote from Johnny Dangerously that I know you like to say a lot.

And I immediately thought of it when Jack is talking about the types of books that he picks up for Youngblood in America.

And one of them is A Swell-Looking Babe by Jim Thompson.

Uh, you can see him playing the judge in 1983's Bad Boys, which is one of my favorite movies, uh, when you're talking about prison movies.

He's also playing a judge in 1984's Johnny Dangerously, which we covered years ago, Dave.

Years ago.

Um, years ago.

I know, like, Night Shift was the first thing, and that wasn't that far before that.

Was Johnny Dangerously? Yeah, Johnny Dangerously was before this.

Right, so there's not that much.

I'm on it right now.

That's probably nothing.

But, yeah, it was Night Shift, then Mr.

Mom, then Johnny Dangerously, and then Gung Ho.

Right, so Mr.

Yes, we would.

Thank God, though, for President Trump, and thank God for his, uh, as they said in, uh, what was the movie? Uh, Johnny Dangerously, whatever it was.

He's got balls as big as church bells.

Sorry if I'm offending you, but there it is.

Welcome back, Amy.

Do you remember watching this one as a kid?

I loved this movie as a kid.

because now I've seen it.

You know, I don't regret it.

I certainly don't regret revisiting Johnny Dangerously.

So many of the jokes land.

Joe, I've got to say, before we go, because I was on the show last year when you came, and Joe C. called me, and he was like, oh, you want to go on the show again? I was like, absolutely.

And I was thinking about you, and I have to say, thank you for Johnny Dangerously.

That movie is amazing.

It's an

Travolta's, uh, uh, [coughs] girlfriend at the time, uh, honestly like one of my all time.

Like, if you did, if you did Kirkman Man's childhood top 10 crushes as a kid, between Taxi and Johnny Dangerously and this, honestly, Marilu Henner is definitely in the top 10.

Like, like, like Elaine on Taxi is, like, probably the first character I ever had a crush on, I think.

Um, Marilu Henner, I'm sure you know, is also...
