Yeah, exactly.

Just to make sure I don't end up on any front pages or anything is the problem here.

But like, first of all, Wig, like I played in Wig's ever last game for Leicester, it was against Argentina.

um and like he's a he's a he's a great man he's he is good to the core now I was never coached by him I'm only going on from when I played with him and from when I would still randomly meet him at a old Tigers gig or something like that uh and Pete again another great fella so um The thing is with this, I suppose, given background, like Wig in his later days in Leicester, Paddy was in charge, Paddy and Cockers were in charge.

And I suppose the older core of that group that they both played with were coming to the end.

And they kind of drew a line in the sand.

And I suppose how they... treated the likes of maybe potentially leon lloyd and and wig probably wasn't great um but ultimately that's professional sport um you know you come to the end where your body is kind of starting to give up and the reality is you can't do it anymore and that comes sooner uh that comes later for others but you are and people i always say this to anyone who's It's the most selfish of team entities because you have to look after number one and they are also looking after what their bottom line is and what they can get out of you for the most value.

I can't remember the last time the vibes were this high for any province in Ireland.

Johnny, if, like, to put you in the coach's seat then this week, if you're trying to pick a team to play Bordeaux, are you, are you thinking just about yourself and what you want to put out on the pitch, or are you trying to cut your cloth accordingly to, to what Bordeaux have and what you want to stop them doing?

Uh, I think you kinda have to probably, uh, you're gonna probably have to look at, uh, at what Bordeaux do, particularly from a kicking game.

You know? Like, if you kick loosely against them, you allow them get straight into their, uh, transition game.

If you don't win that aerial battle when they're going to the air off Gibson-Park and the boxes, um, that's the problem w- w- with that.

So tactically, I think this is gonna be really, really interesting to see what, um, kinda, uh, the coaching staff, Tyler, Jack, what, what they, they decide to do from an attack perspective, be it are they gonna go to the air, uh, with their kicking game, or are they gonna try and move their backfield around? And then that's why, Bertie, it's really important that they have that left field and on those run kick options, that are they gonna try and corner them in high up, high up the pitch and have, and continue their high press?And try and let them then run out from their own areas in that transition.

But if they lose the kick-kick battle in and around the 10 m- between the two 10 meters, I think that's where it could be, be, be quite dangerous for them.

So, um, [lips smack] it's one of those ones, they're probably gonna, instead of being 80/20, you're probably gonna go 70/30 because you have to have a ...

Would you have any concerns about if they did lose this weekend, miss out on top tier European rugby next season, that not so much that they've taken a step back, but just haven't really gone forward?

Johnny, what sort of comments or questions would you be biting your tongue about every now and again?

Uh, [laughs] yeah.

Well, I suppose the kicking one is, uh, i- is a big one.

Like, why do teams kick the ball? And particularly in that last kinda, um, you know, kinda two, three minutes of the game.

We had one this weekend where, you know, why are they kicking the ball back? But it's because it's more or less impossible to hold the, uh, the ball for three minutes in the dy- You know? Like, that, that's, that's tough.

You, you have to try and manage your, your kicking game.

I think, you know, things, and you saw again from the weekend, like Larry's try comes from a very basic thing that has been played since rugby, which is ball to the 10.

Um, a dreadful, um, thing to happen on the pitch and, uh, and quite scary for everyone involved.

But most important, I even got a message on, uh, on Sunday to say that, um, uh, he was most disappointed.
