John Wayne Olsen

Yes, I am, Preddy.

So he was also going to be, uh, the president-elect, I suspect, taking over from John Olsen.

And John, an outstanding time and tough condolences to him with the loss of his wife, Julie.

Yeah.

Of course he did.

He approached numerous people, including Alexander Downer and John Olsen.

Um, I think he did back off that in the end, but it was there.

Did he?

I think all of these people are good administrators.

I think Tim Silvers is good, I think John Olsen is good.

But none of them are the sort of characters that I think, "Wow, th- they, they are really going to lead the Adelaide Football Club to the promised land." I feel like they're a long way away from that.

And, and perhaps just a couple of things like- ... calls on senior players, uh, you know, and, uh, perhaps unfairly, someone like Rory Laird.

Thank you, boys, for taking my call.

I've got two points, but firstly, sincere and heartfelt condolences to John Olsen and his family.

Yeah.

Because can you and I know...

mate.

Our condolences

to John Olsen and the family.

It's terrible news.
