But all those opportunities I've had, I just felt I owed the city so much, and so I was looking for an opportunity to come home.

And John Rogers, who runs Ariel Capital and been my best friend and mentor since I was about ten years old, he was starting to be successful in his money management business.

And rather than buying a second house or a fancy car or boat or whatever, he wanted to set up a foundation and give back to the community, and he just knew of our family's involvement in the neighborhoods.

And so he hired my sister and I, Sarah, to come back and set up the I Have a Dream program.
