John Toland

Um, and Cornette, you know, just he kept it simple, you know? Um, stick to what you know.

Um, you know, though I remember when I was in a tag team with Tank Toland, um, remember Ryan Sakoda and then Jimmy Yang were tag with Tajiri? They came down and, um, and OV- and so we had a match with them on for TV, and, uh, we screwed up some spots 'cause we were, we were trying...

I, I was thinking, "Okay, these are, these guys, you know, I gotta do some Japanese style stuff." And, and I just remember Cornette saying, "Stick to what you know, you know, keep it simple.

Do what you do best." Um, so and I, and I just, you know, I still, Cornette's podcast is, uh, one of the, um, one of the things I s- one of the consistently that I listen to today, you know, wrestling wise.

I was thankful.

Tank Tolan is back.

I was thankful.

I was thankful that Tank was back.

And Chris Hero defeats Jigsaw via submission in 14 minutes, 18 seconds when he made him tap out to a kneeling variation of the Hangman's Clutch.

Yeah.

But – Eventually he does hit an arm drag and then – I remember on the last show you were talking about how the announcers maybe changed their tone about Bobby Dempsey and seemed to have sympathy for him.

That did not hold because they were back to making fun of him here.

Big full circle moment.

Now we wrestle a dog and now we wrestle with Tank Toland.

I was going to say, did you ever get a chance to tell Tank that story? Because that's pretty awesome.

I told him that he knew my teacher and they're friends.

There was a team they had in OVW called, called The Deng.

Well, they brought them up as The Dex, with, uh, Tol- uh, Tank Toland and, uh, Chad.

They, they came up there.

Also, you know what? You know, another team they, that, that was incredibly entertaining, but I don't know if it was the office just looked at them like whatever or the, but the people reacted was The Heart Throbs.
