It's really more of a recent thing.

But there were times where they were playing John Navarre and John Skelton and random quarterbacks where he could've gotten pretty frustrated.

The Matt Leinart era worked out about as well as the J.J. McCarthy era.

I went to the Cardinals training camp up at Northern Arizona University.

And after, you know, the practices were over, they had the Cardinals made every single player, whether it was Larry Fitzgerald or John Skelton, who was the back of that year.

John Skelton was sitting just a couple people down or whatever, saw what happened.

John Skelton comes over, and he goes, hey, buddy, I know I didn't play for the Eagles, and you probably don't know who I am, but I will gladly sign your Eagles shirt.

Now, you know, he had Kurt Warner and he had Carson Palmer.

But if you look at who were the quarterbacks for these receivers, Larry might win that argument of, wait a minute, you did that with that? John Skelton, I think he was on

there.

Um, you know, he's here for special teams, right? But, you know, they held the Colts passing game to 79 yards, right? You know, we got to go way back to, what was that, Ryan Lindley, that Cardinals game in 2012, where it's like Ryan Lindley and John Skelton was the last time I saw a, a team get held to under 100 yards passing in a game.

Obviously, you know, it's probably different in the preseason.
