And yeah, uh, look, South Africa were the better team this morning.
49:42
morning.Yeah, they definitely were.
49:46
I, I think all is not, you know, all is not lost when it comes to the All Blacks.
49:52
I think that in certain areas they fronted up better physically.
49:57
Uh, I didn't feel that they were as physically dominated, uh, as they were in the first test.
50:03
And it, it's been two very interesting test matches where in, in the first test the South Africans could point not to the scoreboard, but to the stat line and come up with a whole host of numbers showing that there's physical dominance everywhere else except at clinically finishing in the 22, and therefore on the scoreboard.
50:24
In this game you could point to the stat line and you could see a whole lot of stats that, uh, would favor the, the All Blacks', uh, carries, posts, contacts, uh, uh, meters, a whole bunch of stats, but yet the All Blacks were not nearly as clinical as they were the previous week when it came to entries into the 22, and the Boks were, uh, wildly efficient when it came to opportunities to put on points.
52:48
But it's also part of the reason why it's so multi-layered, and why when the game is played well, there's nothing better in world sport.
4:21
Um, you just cannot be making those mistakes, and yeah, uh, look, South Africa were the better team this morning.
4:29
Yeah, they definitely were.
4:31

48:58
I, I'm not sure that-
48:59
No, I think first of all, first of all, you've got to look at what was said this week.
49:05
Time after time in con- press conference after press conference, they tried to bring up the All Blacks to the Springboks, and they kept on coming back to them and saying, "Argentina is a very good team.
49:18
Argentina need to be respected in Argentina.
49:21
Argentina have a major disadvantage at the start of every international season in that their players are all over the world, and it normally takes them three to four games before they come anywhere into their real strength." Even in the, in a normal championship, uh, southern hemisphere championship season, it takes about three to four games before they get into their work.
49:43
They were a completely different team to what we've seen in the last, in the first three na- Nations Championships fixtures, right? And they were, they were really, really good.
49:54
And I, I don't think we should discount that Argentina team deserves some respect.
54:00
I-
4:28
I, I'm not sure that, that-
4:29
No, I think first of all, first of all, you gotta look at what was said this week.

5:29
They're well-coached, well-drilled, and they've got a lot of promise there.
9:30
Oh, uh-
3:28
... p- play, have, have a more of sort of probably a multidimensional style of play.
3:33
Well, what really, really impressed me about the Springboks was their ability to problem solve.
3:40
They had six test locks unavailable, plus their new shiny toy, the captain of the SA under-20 team that won the World Cup, the SA under-20 World Cup last year, and he would've been at the under-20 World Cup this year.
3:55
He still qualifies, but he'd been called up to the Springbok squad.
3:59
That's Rylie Norton, lock and captain, and he was injured, uh, not this week, the week before, so he's, uh, pulled his, tore his hamstring off the bone, so or at least a grade three hamstring tear.
4:11
By the way, interesting enough, uh, he not only captained the SA under-20 to the World Cup win last year, but he also averaged 50 with the bat and 18 with the ball at the World under-19 Cricket World Cup last year.
4:26
So, a very talented sportsman.

12:05
I mean, they're playing hell to skeleton rugby.
6:17
Can you get specific about the amendments that are causing you concern? What do you believe the impact may be?
6:27
I'll say two things.
6:28
Firstly, just as background to that, the Minister put out a consultation on these proposed amendments a year ago, and we wrote a letter along with nine other leaders of health professionals associations pointing out our great concern that the consultation on these amendments was very flawed and was clearly ideologically driven.
6:49
That was not listened to.
6:51
And then the specific concerns we have about the amendments that are being proposed, It's summed up in the concern about political overreach.
7:01
The amendments would enable the Minister to direct health regulatory authorities to follow the health policy of the government of the day, and that to me and to us runs the risk of that regulatory authorities become a lever of government policy, which is not the role of regulators.
7:27
The role of regulators is to act on behalf of members of the public to ensure safe and confident practice.
11:04
Where do you see it happening and why would it
29:06
some of the young talent that you've seen come through or players that maybe haven't been in the All Black frame that you sort of like the look of or maybe players that have played sort of, you know, have maybe been part of All Black squads but maybe haven't established themselves?
29:20
Well, certainly I mentioned Josh Lord.
29:24
Sam Darry is another one.
29:26
And this is really the crux.
29:29
If New Zealand is going to beat Australia, South Africa this year in this massive tour, right? Probably the most difficult task that New Zealand has taken on since 2011 to turn the narrative around losing World Cups in between being the number one team in the world.
29:52
Probably the biggest task that New Zealand has taken on has been this four-match series with South Africa.
30:00
And All very well to say the final game is going to be in...

Why and who plays second five? Who plays centre in that combination?
