John Milton

So-

... would be in John Milton's apartment, you know?

Right.

[laughs] Yeah, glow in the dark.

...

so yeah, his, uh, first assignment is this weird case where, um, uh, this, like, I guess Haitian voodoo guy, um, uh, th- this, uh, prosecutor has arrested him doing an animal sacrifice as part of his, uh, voodoo practice, and they're trying to get him up on all these, uh, trumped up, uh, you know, health and safety violation and animal slaughter and meat packing things, and they're throwing the book at him.

And for whatever reason, John Milton, and this guy lives in, like, I don't know, like, like, like a flophouse, like a voodoo-powered flophouse.

[laughs] Mm-hmm.

One of the clearest examples came in The Devil's Advocate.

As John Milton, Pacino delivered performance filled with theatrical energy.

He seemed to enjoy every moment.

He understood that the character required exaggeration.

His performance reminded audiences why he remained one of the great screen actors for so long.

He was no longer the young man from The Godfather.

he was an elder statesman of cinema but the intensity was still there the voice was still there the eyes were still there and the desired perform remained chapter x a legacy built one performance at a time al pacino's career is difficult to summarize because it contains so many different identities Michael Corleone, Tony Montana, Frank Serpico, Sonny Wurtzik, Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade, Vincent Hanna, John Milton, Jimmy Hoffa.

Each character is completely different, yet each contains some Parpacino's unique intensity.

Well, how it makes me laugh to think here you are looking for a home.

My son-in-law, Sir John Milton, has a cottage to let in Barton and you can have it for trifling some.

It would have to be trifling indeed.

And I live just a moment away so I can visit every single day.
