John Miles

a songwriter and session piano player, with an offer to manage Parsons' career.

Parsons agreed, and for the next two years, Wolfson directed him to production and engineering opportunities with a number of artists, including Al Stewart and John Miles, as well as the band The Hollies.

Then Wolfson had an idea.

Let's make an album of our own with your songs and my production skills.

It's Rick Ainey sitting in for Peter Twyford.

We're going to leave this hour with a great song from John Miles.

Just sit back and relax and enjoy it in its full entirety.

Music.

You're So Vain, Carly Simon.

And Music by John Miles.

Classic.

yeah

absolutely so they're

the ones

which they're the ones which i've got very clear memories of sitting listening to on the radio at home grow you know growing up but i mean these most of these were kind of 71 through to 70 i think john miles was 74 wasn't it so it's kind of that period where i was in fourth year, O-level, and then lower sixths, getting ready to go off to university.

So they're all kind of like in that early to middle part of the 70s before I went off to college.
