Uh, and so could we discuss the difference first of all, I guess, between lean mass and muscle mass? And then I'm also curious, i- is, is that rule of thumb sort of holding broadly for these medications, you know, if people, uh, have massive weight loss in, in, in different ways? So could you just talk us through that a little bit, please?
13:18
Yeah.
13:18
I'll jump in and s- and start.
13:20
Um, you know, so I think as you g- you all have known, you know, we've been doing work in the body composition, you know, obesity, weight loss space for 30-ish years.
13:30
We started with, you know, traditional lifestyle, behavioral weight loss programs.
13:36
We've done a lot of work in very low calorie or very low energy diets, you know, 500 to 800 calories a day, and we've also done work prior to this work in bariatric, metabolic and bariatric surgery.
13:48
Across the board, we have seen somewhere between a 15 and 25% reduction in lean tissue, fat-free mass, with about 75% obviously coming then from adipose tissue, 75 to 85% coming from adipose tissue.

And so to give these drugs, uh, where you get weight loss and then go off the drugs and, and regain the weight, we're not actually buying long-term health, we're just renting weight loss.
