There's always a controversy about to what extent you can do controlled burning, isn't there, especially on heather?

Yes, the controlled burning, I mean, there's no question about it, it is a benefit.

If we go back 40 years ago, that sort of ground would have been 2,000 or 3,000 ewes on it, maybe 5,000 ewes on it.

I would think it may be a figure near 5,000 ewes would have been grazing it, plus there'd been bits of lower ground would have been grazed with cattle.

And when the RSPB took over the forest lodge, they decided they wanted rid of the farmers because they thought they could run it without any livestock.

But I'm afraid 40 years later, we're back wanting cows in the forest to try and get the capercaillies back, which just seems to be working.

And I think one of the very interesting statistics of a cow is, a cow will produce a third of its weight in invertebrates over a season.

Mm-hmm.

Let's talk about what are the things the United States has been doing over time that we see impacting this.

1962 with the blockade, which continues to this day.

So it's very difficult for other countries to trade with Cuba.

The fuel blockade you mentioned, there's been one tanker in four months arriving in Cuba.

What that means is that there's no fuel for the hospitals, the schools, for buses, for transportation.

So it's had a massive, massive impact.

There are sanctions against any foreign business.

You kind of leaned into the question that I was going to ask, which is what role should Canada play and how much does the fact that even if you lump Mexico in with Canada, that they're trying to negotiate the Kuzma agreement right now, how much does that factor into how much they're willing to do? I know you stepped into that with your last answer, but any further thoughts?

I don't think that was originally my intention.

It was really kind of, uh, for me and, and my friends at first and then it was just- I'm really, uh, a very meticulous person and I'm a stickler for completeness.

During the years that I started putting it together, I mean, I think what differentiates List of John from every other place, um, is just the amount of attention to detail, um, that I put into things.

You know, a good example of what's going on right now is that a lot of algorithms are out there to kind of spit out whatever ground point models, like bare, bare earth models of the kind of LiDAR surveys that are being done just at face value.

So when that data comes out, I guess, what are your thoughts on maintaining all of that as new information comes in? How quickly does new information come in? Is there a lot of maintenance there? Like, what are your thoughts around all of that?
