Yeah, John, tell me.

So my journey was quite convoluted.

I think as a kid, I always had, I guess, a creative leaning, but no... vocational direction.

As I got towards the end of sort of high school time and people were pushing you to make decisions about careers, various forms of design, including architecture, were there.

And I remember going on career days where we had a day at a an architect studio.

Neil Cotton, who's a local Auckland architect, I spent a day with him when I was about 16 years old.

And I went and looked at some other design fields as well.

that I could take this house and put it anywhere in the world give or take a few well if I was just a developer I'd just stick it anywhere and then we go outside of that and we go okay well let's be a bit more conscious about it but I could take you know the house the tree villa in Ponsonby and stick that anywhere that there was enough land to put it on but is it of the place is it of the you know is it is it is it of that place and also telling enough story of history and progression and to warrant being on the land if you get really,

Which sector of the ag industry do you think could see the greatest impact from these visas expiring?

Yeah, well, thank you so much for having me on today.

Obviously, the visa expiration that we're seeing in the Haitian and Syrian community is going to be an impact for agriculture.

We're going to see impact, particularly in fruit and vegetable production in Florida, also in the Carolinas.

A lot of these communities work in different commodities, but those are the regions in which a lot of these workers are operating.

And then on the processing side, we'll obviously see some impact in the meat sector as well.

But when you look longer term, what's at risk?

Yeah, what's at risk continues to be the future of American agriculture.
