John Hammond

And now it's moved to Telford, um, kind of British cattle breeders club.

Um, it was formed by Sir John Hammond.

Um, and we still honor Sir John Hammond's work, um, all the way back from the forties and fifties, um, with the Sir John Hammond award, which we give, um, alongside the British Society of Animal Science, um, for people that, um, have delivered a lot or given a lot of their time and research into uk animal agriculture um so we're very proud to do that every year um and i mean this year we've got um yeah, two very willing recipients of that award, which is great.

And I think it's just the main thing about British cattle breeders that I think is amazing for farmers is it's incredibly welcoming and friendly.

It's a relatively small, it is a small club.

your monthly check-in or your balance sheet at the end of the day tells you if your cows are any good.

But there are so many tools out there that we can make it easier for people.

And I think like, so Mike Coffey and Mike Winters were recipients of the John Hammond Award this year and they're opening Dairy Day for us.
