Rebel Scum Con will have the panel come up fairly soon on Phantom Tracks Radio, but I spoke to Kim Smith and John Goodson, who worked on Phantom Menace, doing stuff with the models and the ships and various things.

And the prevailing wisdom publicly was that all of that was CG.

And yet, as anybody who listens to this show and reads anything else knows, there was more models built for Phantom Menace than there was for the whole of the original trilogy combined.
