John Goodison

Can Britain welcome wealthy investors while ensuring they remain accountable to the rules? The Premier League's worldwide reputation is also at stake.

Will this damage confidence in English football's fairness or could an independent process strengthen it? Joining me are John Goodison in Dublin and Sonia Oltraid in London to discuss diplomacy, political influence, and of course, the beautiful game, a game where the same rules apply to everyone.

First, I'm gonna come to you, John, because you've got a very interesting connection to Manchester City.

Before we embark on the next 20 minutes or so of trying to put this whole scandal properly in its place, why do you support Manchester City?

League Two.

You agree with me, they're going down to League Two.

John Goodison, the Manchester fan on the panel- What says you? And be fair, sir

I can't believe we're wrapping up now 'cause I, I've only said about 5% of what I wanted to say [laughs] about this case.
