I think that it's just him growing up and comparing him as a man to her boyfriend as a man and any potential girlfriends that he might have and feeling inadequate.

There's this cool guy who doesn't care about anything and has the son of John Garfield, by the way, the actor John Garfield.

Oh, is he? Yeah, yeah, his name is...

did a good job.

think he's credited as John Garfield Jr. in the movie and went by David Garfield, but yeah, he's John Garfield's son.

He doesn't really look like John Garfield, but he does have that kind of like, you know, suave, like, don't give a fuck kind of

Bill Conrad played Inspector Warchek of Homicide.

John Garfield played Nat Pinley.

Others in the cast were Gene Rogers, Joan Banks.

Original music was composed and conducted by Harry Zimmerman, and the entire production was directed by Nat Wolfe.

And I mean, even a character like a wolf played by John Garfield, who was actually like a pretty noteworthy actor at the time and would be for a few years after this, but actually died quite young of a heart attack.

I think he was like 39 years old.
