And so... a lot of the time I've spent sort of chatting to people about what can a city like Johannesburg be.

And so for me, this piece came out of actually an article that the IRR CEO, John Endres, shared with me.

We'd had dinner a couple of weeks back.

And so we were kind of talking about Johannesburg and what its potential would be and what Johannesburg would really look like if it came under competent management and what we can dream for Johannesburg to be.

And I was like, what are you doing? And it turned out, of course, they were from California.

John Endres says that you should be charged to feed a honker horn.

This one I like.

If somebody's going to hit your car, it's worth paying a dollar or five dollars or however we decide to set it to honk your horn.
