John DeCamp in 1992 wrote Franklin Cover-Up.

So we have Franklin Cover-Up in 1992, and then we have, um, her interview talking about high-level NATO military blackmail, Skittle stuff, butt stuff.

And, uh, as we shout out to TT who d- did eventually find it in the chat, we had her explaining that in her view, she believed that, uh, some of these serial killers, including she mentions McVeigh, um, Dahmer, Kaczynski, and she mentioned one other person, but I forget who it was.

And they ran the Phoenix Project.

And his name is John DeCamp.

So if you heard of John DeCamp, did you know that he was a CIA guy that was, um, the aide to, by the way, Bill...

Uh, Nebraska State senator, Senator Lauren Schmidt and chairman of, um, chairman of the special legislature's Franklin Committee, uh, established to investigate the financial collapse and child abuse allegations.

It was the work of John DeCamp and then Nick Bryant.

Great hanging out with you in New York City, meeting him for the first time.

Blanks that the official reports refused to address.

Like, why were multiple paperboys vanishing? Why were witnesses being ignored? Why were certain files sealed? She reached out to former FBI agent Ted Gunderson and Nebraska Senator John DeCamp, who were already investigating the Franklin Network.

Their reports confirmed what she'd been hearing for years.

Organized groups using coded communication, fake charities, sometimes even government fronts to conceal exploitation.

You know, usually our best research sources set about dismantling the madness in these kind of episodes.

But two of our primary sources for today, journalist Nick Bryant, former Nebraska state senator John DeCamp.

Well, their books actually validate some of the most unsettling aspects of this story.

Nick Bryant, an award-winning investigative journalist with three decades of experience focusing on child welfare, stated it plainly in his 2012 book, The Franklin Scandal, A Story of Power Brokers, Child Abuse and Betrayal.

At this meeting, the FBI played its federal trump card.

The FBI would conduct the impending investigation and interview the victims, but only on FBI terms.

On January 18th, 1990, Parshing in response to this, John DeCamp sent a memo to reporters at the World Herald and Lincoln Journal stating that the public is rapidly losing faith in its fundamental institutions of government because of the way law enforcement entities have conducted their investigations into the allegations.

And who is John DeCamp? How is he involved? Well, a highly decorated Vietnam vet, DeCamp had made a name for himself by organizing Operation Babylift as a civilian in 1975, in which he had spearheaded evacuating almost 3,000 orphaned Vietnamese children from the war-torn country.
