[clears throat] So because people don't even know [chuckles] that basis of Tourette's, that's where the ignorance come from already.

For like coprolalia, [clears throat] which is what happened at the BAFTAs with, um, John Davidson, [clears throat] you shout out literally racist terms, [chuckles] derogatory terms, [clears throat] swear words, [chuckles] obscene language.

And more like, more times out of none, [clears throat] it's non-intentional.

I'm not saying that you can't be racist and have Tourette's, [clears throat] but if you shout out the N-word and you have Tourette's, it's more likely you're ticcing rather than you being racist.

Here is one such testimony in Scotland in 1596.

Quote, To the east, simultaneously, God was raising up a prophet named John Davidson.

This man carried a prophetic anointing that more and more people acknowledged.

As John Welsh prayed eight hours a day in Kilcudbright, this pastor was confronting the Scottish Kirk, the Kirk is their word for church in Scotland, with its failure to maintain the transformation that had prevailed in the days of Knox.

John Knox was a reformer one generation earlier.

Finally, John Davidson urged his presbytery to call a meeting of the General Assembly to address the problem.

They did so, and the business of the 1596 General Assembly of the Kirk of Scotland consisted of only one agenda item, to read an overture drawn up by John Davidson detailing the sins of the clergy.

This willingness to even hold such a meeting shows that the Kirk recognized the prophetic anointing of John Davidson and valued what he might tell them.

I'd seen documentaries about him but I hadn't, I didn't like think he was this big celebrity but turns out he is now that we saw his whole story.

It's a guy who developed in his like early teens developed uh, uh Tourette's.

Yeah exactly its not no any you know romance and that was his wife or anything No its just somebody to talk too on the train but he actually talked to someone Which he hadn't done other than his family so to speak Or their friends Incredibly moving I gave four and a half stars Went straight up to my top three

So fucking good Robert Aramayo who plays uh john davidson Incredible performance and I was like I know him from somewhere and it turns out ive se-i've seen him in several things and i've never clocked it uh but most most importantly he's in um The standoff at sparrow creek Was like whoa that was him incredible Movie watch it If you can
