John Craigie

[laughs] You know, y- that is so true.

It, you know, it's like I had this talk with one of my favorite songwriters, John Craigie, and he ta- it w- these songs aren't for us.

[laughs] Or maybe they are.

Are these songs for you or are they for them?

I possibly have, yes.

Speaking of Americana, and I know we do often speak about Americana, but someone who was relatively new to me, not to you, but to me, is someone who I chanced upon because Love Police have just announced that John Craigie is coming back to Australian shores in April of 2027, having toured here last year and the year before that.

And I thought, OK, I don't really know John Crikey.

I might have a listen to the new album, which I think is called I Swim Here.

The whole album sounded great.

And I looked in the notes.

It looks like John Craigie has produced the album himself.

And what he's done is layered some really lovely reverb on his own voice that pretty much runs through the whole album.
