John Conteh

I mean, at one point, I'm a big fan of boxing.

If anybody remembers John Conte, the boxer, do you remember Conte? A Liverpoolian boxer.

He played, at one point, the narrator.

Did he really? Yes, he did.

So all sorts of people have, a little bit like Panto, you've taken these people from different... you know, places in the theatre, and put them into a role.

All they need is a voice of authority.

And at the time, John Conte, I couldn't believe, there's all people out there going, who is he talking about? But he played the narrator.

Google it.

like the

gym of the Contender was the gym of another film, Million Dollar Baby.

That's the same gym.

No way.

How did you feel in that fight, Nath? When I fought him, I did this.

That, you can't buy that.

When we were talking about Sugar Lee Leonard and Buddy on The Contender, I was sitting there having a cup of tea with Buddy, and Sugar Lee Leonard's sitting there telling me and Buddy's stories.

Buddy's his mate, they've known each other for years.
