So what kind of things are you seeing sort of trend-wise in videography at the moment, would you say? Trend-wise...
4:03
I mean, we've had a decade of social content, haven't we? Portrait videos, which has changed everything because obviously I do a lot of like campaign work, like PR stuff.
4:15
So it's all still kind of landscape, but you always have to have a portrait in line.
4:20
So everything's framed for both.
4:23
So I still do a lot of landscape brand films, case studies.
4:29
I work, like a lot in like documentary now right so i'm still sort of a purist in some ways i still i still get to work in yeah but yeah we've had 10 years of multi-faceted content creation and actually i think it's coming back around now but also because i think budget's yeah yeah i think people are leaning into natural uh natural looking content authentic content yeah where things can be lit a little bit more naturally you use less lights

Is it our podcast? I was going to say this.
7:13
No, it wasn't.
12:48
with the
12:49
royal family, it was decided that it would be opened by Princess Alexandra.
12:54
And so she came to open the school.
12:57
And one of her requests was that she wanted to meet with a boy from each of the disciplines that was being studied at the school.
13:05
And so I represented physics.
13:07
So that's another key to how I ended up doing physics.
13:11
And so it was decided that I would, in fact, talk to Her Royal Highness about my analog computer.

20:04
Well, let's get into it with John Clarke.
1:05
... anxiety?
1:07
Yeah, that's a great question.
1:09
The, the first thing I would say is I'm probably predisposed to some degree of anxiety just biologically, genetically, and so, um, I know that, and I know that my biology is just kind of leans toward anxiety, and it runs in my family.
1:27
And so, in, in a way, I, gosh, I just have a lifetime of experience with it.
1:34
And part of how I became a therapist, not unlike many therapists, is as a kid and as a teenager, I had tremendous amounts of anxiety, and that showed up in the form of, you know, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, um, even some kind of OCD flavors.
1:53
Um, and it was, uh, horrible.
1:57
It was really horrible, and feeling really under-resourced to just deal with it.
2:44
Mm.
27:06
[laughs]
27:06
Anyway, so I jumped in and I shot across Fingal Bay, and I was pretty happy with myself until I got pretty close to the apple tree, which is on the opposite, on the other side, and then I thought, "I better put me life jacket on," because, because there was a fair bit of swell running, a bit over two meters, and, and that gets a bit lumpy.
27:28
Anyway, so I've st- I've put the mo- the motor in, uh, neutral and just idling, um, and I put the life jacket on and that.
27:36
Right, ready to go.
27:38
Then I put the motor in, um, gear, and the motor stopped.
27:43
I thought, "Oh, okay.
27:45
That's all right.
32:44
At least you gave it a go.
