And so Salaburton, as often happens, the widow took his place in one election and the re-election, but then she got cancer and was dying.

And on her deathbed, she summoned John Burton, her brother-in-law, and also Nancy Pelosi and others.

And she, you know, she said to them, I want Nancy Pelosi to take my place.

And that was shocking.

In fact, John Burton told us years later that when she said, I want Nancy to take my place, they thought she was talking about Nancy Walker, who was a liberal member of the Board of Supervisors.

You know, it was not at all in their vision.

But Sala Burton saw something in Nancy Pelosi that I think more people came to see after she rose in politics.

But I would say if I had to guess, I would say it was two to one for Harry Britt.
