John Brzenk

Lincoln Hawk is the name of the character that Stallone plays in the film.

He was inspired in part by legendary arm wrestler John Berzank.

And here's the absolutely bananas part.

Brzenk actually won the trucker's class of the real over-the-top tournament.

And he plays the monstrous Bob Bull Hurley.

Remember him? I do, yeah.

He was a highly accomplished arm wrestler.

He was the second choice they had for that character.
