John Brady

We have two guests.

So I was gonna start with John Brady, Sinn Féin TD and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee.

What's your position on this?

Uh, good evening, Matt.

I think that's all I can do, is to kind of convey, I guess, the importance of abolishing car parking charges for this cohort, uh, and hope that that resonates.

Uh, Chris says, "It's only three euro a day to park at Cavan General Hospital.

Don't understand why there's such a difference between hospitals." But I suspect, John Brady, it's an issue of demand, 'cause I see Cork University Hospital has had the highest revenue from car parking fees, taking in nearly 12 million euros since 2020.

But I know from personal experience, twice this year, that trying to find a car parking spot in Cork University Hospital is incredibly difficult.
