John Adams

They are a troop of family members up in upstate New York.

John Adams, Toby Poser and their daughter Zelda Adams and their younger daughter Lulu is now getting involved in the filmmaking fund.

They just make movies upstate in upstate New York using the limited budgets they have and the environment they use upstate New York to pretty great effect.

While I liked pretty much every movie they made up to this point, They'd always managed to make something special out of their very limited means.

27, Soulmate, directed by Axel Carolin.

28, Mother of Flies, directed by John Adams, Toby Poser, and Zelda Adams.

And of course, this is The Addams Family, so they're gonna star in the movie too.

The 29th, Tigers Are Not Afraid, directed by Issa López.

But what if we...

You know, when we meet John Adams in a few short weeks at Grimfest, we can just maybe just say, John, just what do you think of this little acting skit that I'm about to do? Just do some spontaneous acting and see...

Live up to the stereotype.

Meet a filmmaker in a social setting and then just solicit yourself to them.

Hello friends and welcome back to the morgue and we're also welcoming back John and Toby of Adam's Family fame to tell us a bit about their new film The Glorious Dead which has just had its debut here at Frightfest in the UK and will be coming to Manchester's own Grimfest next month.

Guys welcome back to the show you're actually our first returning guest.

Yeah yeah first first to come back.

So, yeah, Ken and I were lucky enough to catch this movie.

As I say, it debuted at Fright Fest, and it's coming to Grimmfest.

John, I understand you're going to be here for Grimmfest, too.

I'm so excited.

We've always wanted to go to Grimfest, so I'm lucky to be the one to pull the big straw.

And yeah, all, all chaos, all hell is breaking loose, perhaps literally.

Um, the reason that I'm a bit of a latecomer to this is that this is the first film I s- have seen from The Adams Family, so directed by Toby Poser and John Adams, starring Zelda Adams and also Toby Poser.

So, you know, it's a family affair.

So The Adams Family, not that one, are, uh, mainstays of Fright Fest.

kind of like Yeah, those those movies feel like they go hand in hand.

So this is from the Adams family, Toby Poser and John Adams, a small town sheriff and her deputy awaken to a changed world where blood drips from taps.

People and pets vanish.

Fleshy creatures roam the woods.

And as the sun sets, all hell is frozen over.

horror in the winter just hits differently.

Like, especially like if, if the Adams family can really capture that feeling of like being cold, you know, like when you're in the, like the movie theater and you're seeing something really cold play out, maybe they have the air on a little bit and you start like, like, Oh man, it is chilly in here.

That's what I want out of this movie.
