There's so many good, cheaper midfielders.

Manzambi and Tavernier I just mentioned, you know, they are returning and you would free up that with Palmer.

But I guess that's a longer term move.

Jackson's really stepping up.

Manzambi's looking good alongside him.

And maybe the defence is better than we think.

Someone like a Matty Cash.

But you look at these Villa fixtures and you do want to cover that attack.

The concern with Jackson is he'll get some early subs because of Europe and matches back.

You could get to Manzambi, but he gets even fewer minutes.

And the fixtures are undeniable.

I don't want to ever have to start him.

So at some point, again, if I downgrade Palmer and I free up money or I downgrade Jal Pedro, yes, I could upgrade Slater to someone like Manzambi or Tavernier.

Elsewhere, Pascal Groves, Morgan Rodgers and Gibbs White are not top priority transfers for me.

Gibbs White, maybe one that I look to sell in a couple of weeks.

And when you look at projected goals, Manchester City, 2.1 against Brighton.

But who do you own outside of Erling Haaland? Next up is Chelsea.

But you also want those players long term.

It's not a straightforward one.

If Jal Pedro's out for... three weeks because that's actually just two game weeks in FPL because we've got two game weeks and then an international break which is another two weeks long and then it's game week 11 so Jal Pedro could miss just two games max if it's a three-week injury again are you guys making that switch if you don't have Jackson or are you going to hold on to Jal Pedro Manzambi worth a mention as well.

He was past fit enough to start despite the doubt.

65 minutes for him.

So if you've got Erdogan, it could be an excuse to swap him for someone with a better fixture this week.

Chelsea showing up in third here so yeah another reason to keep the faith in their attackers.

Some attackers that come to mind when I look at this table, some of these are going to be very obvious, some you might not even agree with but Rodgers, Palmer, Gross, Izak but not this week and Bumo and Dye, Costulas, Hinchelwood, Tavernier, Manzambi and Jackson.

The projected clean sheets ticker has got Arsenal top as always and look who's second, Spurs.

And then to go along with that experience and with those tried and tested that you have there as well, that is what creates the depth.

But as I said, the depth gets exciting when the new players that come in hit the ground running, like Manzambi has, like Alisson, I suppose, has in the last few weeks and certainly since Nicholas Jackson has come in.

We might even see a start for Leon Goretzka, I would say, as well.

When you talk about depth...

I think for Evan Nielsen as well, Jackson looks like a really good option that people are going to migrate to.

Whereas I think in the midfield, it has suddenly become like, oh, there's loads of these good six million midfielders, your boys, Manzambi, Gross.

I feel like they're kind of in that...

And I'm prepared to go there, right? So then Tavernier, Ray-Anne, Manzambi, Gross, it's like, well, I don't know if people want to end up with all four of that.

Those players become in competition.

Whereas I think Evan Nilsson would probably just fall just on the wrong side versus Jackson.

The one player I stuck with again at Liverpool was Kirkes, and he's coming along nicely, so happy with that.

The player that I brought in that I'm happiest with, didn't do well last week, but has done overall, is Johan Manzambi.

Watched him for Switzerland against Australia in the lead-up to the World Cup and went, wow, this is a player.

Okay, so I mentioned Aston Villa a little bit in the previous section, but I do think that Chelsea and Villa link in quite nicely with each other because for Jao Pedro replacements, Jackson looks really good.

For Cole Palmer, if you don't like him, then maybe Manzambi looks like a good option as well.

So let's have a look at them.

First thing to say is Aston Villa, recently at least, have been absolutely phenomenal.

He doesn't always start.

McGinn, similar situation.

For me, it really is Jackson or Manzambi.

Now, Jackson's going to be the popular buy for a lot of people this week.

If we're looking at his expected points per match, Tavernier's at 6.39%.

and Manzambi is at 5.71.

Both of them are running very hot.

This is still a relatively small sample size, but if they even continue on at a pretty decent degree comparatively to what they've done in the first eight game weeks, these are really, really good assets for your team and they've got good fixtures moving forward.
