On the one hand, you don't often read those quotes in these kinds of stories, but there have been, particularly in the Israeli press, and it often strikes me, Scott, as remarkable, there are so many fucking Western journalists based in Israel mostly in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, for all different outlets, ABC, US, UK, France, Germany, etc.

But like at the moment, rather than having a nuanced and engaged public debate about this, we're just seeing in this circumstance police figure out ways to use the tools that they're not supposed to and almost no one's the wiser until we, um, were able to get this information via freedom of information request.
