It's a sweet thing that again, you won't experience on any other board other than maybe a glider and it's a blast even on a one foot wave.

Uh, maybe I need to have Joel Tudor bury his hatchet against me and have him shaman.

That would be the ultimate storyline is if you can get him to be your longboard coach.

Yeah.

This is longboarding we're talking about.

If surfing was never supposed to be competitive, longboarding certainly wasn't supposed to be.

So I need the winningest longboarder of all time, Joel Tudor, to shaman me.

There you go.

That's what's sketchy with these big organizations.

And Joel Tudor, you know, he was calling them out, you know, for the Harvey Weinstein stuff.

And, you know, people are calling him crazy.

And then this happens.

And I remind them that, man, you could be Kelly Slater or Joel Tudor, and you don't control the ocean, you know?

Right.

And there, and there's certain spots where your board might just wash up on the bricks and not affect anybody, and I understand that there's certain waves that are designed differently, but-

Um, but yeah, what an honor to have him help with the judging.

And of course, I mean, I mentioned Rob Machado and Gerry Lopez, but Joel Tudor swung by, was checking out the boards.

Um, you know, Cliff Kapono, gr- uh, Dane Gudauskas, uh, Peter Mel was there all weekend long.

Um, ob- and then of course, all of the great surfboard shapers that we know and love, Stretch, all sorts of people.

it, it was just tricky at the end, um, to try and lock it all in, but...
