I mean, it was...

A- as much of this, as much as there was that sort of early season optimism that, oh, there's a lot going on behind the scenes at West Ham and, and things off the field might have an impact on the pitch, when you've got Jarrod Bowen playing in the Championship and Manuel Solomon and Joel Piroe, it, it's eventually gonna lead to goals and, and, and victories really, isn't it? And, and then like you say, some of the other sides, Southampton, uh, I'm sure there's plenty of Southampton fans tuning in to, uh, listen to me and you obviously, two real, real f- favorites of the, of the Saints, uh, #DuranSpygate.

But yeah, they, they look i- in fairness to them, re- regardless of if they're at training grounds up and down the country this season, they do look pretty good, and they've got one of the best strikers in the division in Larron.

And, and yeah, some of, some of the sort of dark horses, Swansea I think look really bright.

But let's kind of just start with the game plan then, because it became apparent very early on that Wrexham's plan was, as we've seen in lots of games, and in some away games it has worked against lesser quality opposition, sit back, try not to concede, but then as soon as you do concede, the game plan is out of the window and Wrexham were on the ropes.

Watching the highlights back, you think of the Patterson save, you think of the Piroe shot over the bar, you think of Bowen whizzing one past the post.

It could've been 9-0.

Jarrod Bowen off the right, you know, in a kind of 4-2-2-2.

Off the right played for England, England international, one of the... you know, was one of the best players in the Prem in the year they went down in, in terms of statistics.

But then you've got Joel Piroe up front, who I think has been a championship player of the season in the year he was, he was down there last.

Or Golden Boot winner, one of the two, definitely either the best player in the league or the top scorer.

Then we have got Joel Peru with the second after a goal-line clearance from Mavropanos, the only opportunity Wrexham had basically in the entire game.

Then Karl-Walker Peters, who came off the bench very early on, Tidak Castellanos for his goal.

Keelan, do you want to heap some more praise on West Ham before we start on Wrexham?

Yeah, how long have you got? I mean, it's just, it feels like the praise is almost endless that you can speak about from this game from a West Ham perspective.

Obviously, when Adam and I previewed it, I think we both predicted big wins, but you're playing against a Wrexham team that are known to be quite, you know, organised and determined and West Ham just toyed with them especially in that second half Mavropanos scored quickly into it and it was just a wreck some defense that was all at sea and I mean West Ham's quality shone through you know Mano Solomon, Joel Peru, Jarrah Bowens showing up in the championship now after a quiet opening few matches Tassi Castellanos had a good game, Karl-Walker Peters off the bench was rapid running forwards.

And in this time 12 months time, we'll see where everything is.

One of the big gaps, though, that was highlighted was the fact that Leeds didn't go and get a striker, especially after letting Joel Piroe move out on loan.

Got some chatter floating around that Leeds weren't overly happy with the striker market as it was this summer, and that they would likely leave it and maybe go for a bigger striker next summer, and that appears to play out a little bit in his response, and he said this: "There was no desire at all this summer to find a striker who was going to compete with or take over Dominic's spot.

It was not a number one striker summer for us.

They seem to be playing like a 4-4-2 with Castillanos and Piroe up top, particularly at home anyway.

And I just think they have a lot of firepower.
