TSO coming, uh, their tour begins in November.

Uh, Joel Hoekstra's gonna join us on the show later this week, and we have tickets for you where you are.

I mean, technically, if you wanna travel to one of the shows, we have tickets to.

That's on you.

Who's this?

Hey, good morning, Joe.

It's Joel.

Morning, Joel.

There's so many fun things happening.

You know, I started another side project with Joel Hoekstra from Whitesnake and Rockabages.

He's like this, you know, the guitar god, the ballon.

He's maybe the most famous guitar player in the world right now.

We have a very special guest on the line this morning on WIXX.

Joel Hoekstra.

Joel, good morning.

Wow.

You're not going to be disappointed with this show.

It's going to be awesome.

Joel Hoekstra joining us today, the lead guitarist.

Thank you so much for taking time.

Grainger, for the ones who get it done.

Doing great, Dan.

Thanks so much for having me on.

I took my 10-year-old to see it a few years ago here in Nashville.

Absolutely loved it.

You know, you mentioned it, Joel Hoekstra, by the way, joining us, guitarist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I would describe it as a rock opera as well, a storyline complete with narration.

Oh, cool.

You know, Joel or Chris, I'm playing guitar now because of you or I'm playing, you know, just to know that you are inspiring these kids to pick up an instrument, no matter what it is.

To me, that's the best thing of all, because I could just, My life, obviously, I mean, learning an instrument, learning music, I think is just such a critical part of their development.

It makes us all proud to know that we're passing that on to these kids.

Okay.

Hey, you know what? A number of us, because of technology, a number of us teach while we're on the road too.

You know, Joel Hoekstra is giving guitar lessons every day off.

I'm giving drum lessons at times on days off.

Okay.

Her and Joel Hoekstra, oof.

[laughs]

Two people I like, and that's just, ugh.

There was a guy, someone that was in the play was in a band that Don knew, and they hooked him up with, like, front row tickets.

It was Joel Hoekstra.

Oh, Joel.

Oh, Joel.
