I'm Molly Knight.

And this is the Joy of Baseball podcast.

His best year is 1981, where there's a strike, and maybe if the voters had given him the MVP that year, his stature would have changed in baseball.

Joe Posnanski put together 100 best players not in the Hall of Fame list.

He had Dwight Evans 10th on that list, and he pointed to the 1981 MVP as a reason why he might not be in.

That MVP award certainly helped rally fingers, and it may have hindered Dwight Evans' argument.

Because that's what it was to me.

But I was talking to Scher and Posnanski, who just wrote a book called Big Fan.

And they had, you know, compared only Star Wars and and and Premier League, you know, the customs of that.

But I think you you view college football as your one seat.

It's not a dig to say, I don't think you're a hundred win team, but they will be pretty darn close to it this year because of how well they have been able to maximize their opportunities.

Joe Posnanski wrote today they have a losing record in blowout games this year.

That is something that a World Series contender never does.

World Series contenders usually have a margin of plus 10 or plus 15 games in their column in blowouts.

Goats keep goating.

So Steve Ross, it's incredible because, so Joe Posnanski, I think wrote a piece about Roger Federer, I want to say in the early 2010s when he was sort of just past peak Federer, but still amazing.

And Posnanski was saying that Roger Federer has had the longest still career of anyone where he's still really, really good.

And Steve Ross, I mean, he's even beyond still.

And of course, our good friend Justin Rinaldi will be here to talk about his own top 100 list.

As you know, we've been going through Joe Posnanski's The Baseball 100.

And throughout the series, we would often reference Justin Rinaldi's 100.

So we wanted to get him on to talk about his list and just kind of have a little fun with that.

So most of my time, I'm not that interested in the baseball season, just following the White Sox once about, you know, June rolls around.

So I just kind of follow baseball on all teams and don't, I try not to go ahead and play favorites towards players and things like that.

And I was actually listening to your guys' podcast on Joe Posnanski's Top 100 when I got the idea of doing my own Top 100.

And your gripes, John and Leroy, a lot of times are like, why is Posnanski placing this player at this number? Is it simply because...
