So tell us about – I mean, you might as well start with the compound one, and then you can drift into the – The traditional bow.

Yeah, so the compound buck, I really wanted to hunt him with a traditional bow this year.

It's a deer I've known about for five years.

I got pictures of him in 2022, and he was either a three or a four-year-old.

And he had lived, and we nicknamed him the Nomad because he would vanish for weeks at a time, and then he would show up, and just never did the same thing twice ever.

And just to paint the picture, and this is not to... stroke ego or anything like that.

It's just to tell exactly, you know, kind of what we were up against.

And this is, what, five years in the making on this deer? Is that what it was?

Ye- yeah, it, you know, it's, it's, it's really funny.

I've, I've, I've thought about this two different ways.

Um, you know, chasing one deer for, for five years either tells you just how bad of a hunter I am, or we can look at it the other way, that the deer was really, really difficult to, to, to get a tag on.

[laughs] Um, a- and I'm not sure which way we wanna go with this, but yeah, man, it, it is a, it's a...

It, it is the deer, I will say, of my, I won't say lifetime, but, but it is definitely a deer that has been the most satisfying and, and rewarding for me personally.

Um, y- you know, I've, I've killed some big ones, been very fortunate, especially in the Midwest, and, and shot some really big deer out there.

So he's got to be living right there.

So, Is that, is that something though, like to sort of tie it all together? Is that something you've noticed in your, in your deer hunting that like being fit is important?

Yeah.

I mean, come on, we, we, we all know the fat guy that kills deer every year, right? You know, there's, there's, you don't, you don't have to be fit to, to kill whitetail deer.

Just like you don't have to wear camouflage to wear, to kill, you know, deer.

I'll argue that all day long.

You don't, you don't have to have camo to kill a deer.

You don't have to be fit to kill a deer.

What do you

... what we can expect.

Well, um, I, I think one of the, the biggest, or the two, two biggest things, we've got our, our stealth line coming, which is, it's a highly wind resistant.

Uh, we didn't put a membrane in it, uh, but it's a thicker fleece, tightly woven, but it is absolutely dead quiet.

For the guy that maybe he's gonna wear, like, a windproof vest underneath this, or it's not a windy day and you just wanna be absolutely dead quiet, th- this will be that.

It's as It's as quiet a two pieces.

It's a jacket with a removable hood, and it's a pair of pants with full leg zips, uh, that you can pack in and put on when you, when you get in if you want to, or, or if you don't have far to go, you can wear it in.

Um, so, so guys are, are really fired up about that.

But I'm going to throw it over to you and let you just talk about why you designed Osseo and why this pattern is the way or the several are the way that they are.

Yeah, for sure.

No, I appreciate that.

So first and foremost, and this may sound weird coming from a guy that sells camouflage, you don't have to have camo to kill deer.

You know, we see it all the time.

I mean, the guys back in the day wore red flannel shirts, blue jeans, smoking cigarettes and killing deer, right? I mean, you do not have to have camouflage to kill a deer.

If you want to get really, really close to deer where you can see the whites of their eyes blinking with a traditional bow or a compound bow and you want to get deadly close, which is how I like to hunt, you know, talking about inside 20 yards, camo really does play a part in concealing you and Don't take my word for that.

Tell me about that.

Yeah.

And, and I missed the one I missed with my recurve was a, was a nice buck in Texas.

And you know how, when we all got started bow hunting, you know, when, when you start bow hunting, you know, when you see a deer that's going to be in range, you know, the adrenaline starts.

Right.

And then over years for, for me, you know, all right.

that's the deer I'm after, you know, I'm just kind of locked into the whole process.

I don't get super excited until after the shot.
