Okay, so 10 years ago, I ran a 3.38 and now I'm sitting here with Olympian champions and world champs and the best runners in the world and warming up with them.

I think Stu and I are interesting because most of our competitive running careers were pre the socialization of training.

And I struggled with that in the last few years of my career, especially with the rise of Joe Klecker.

You go on there and you're just like, man, I'm just getting...

My training sucks.

Like, the two kinda, you know, unknown, like, how the second one's gonna go, like, the second big one's gonna go.

Or, you know, seeing-- At least see him, like, granted New York's not a fast field, seeing him toe the line with, you know, Joe Klecker, Ryan Ford, Mance, Zouhir.

You know, that would be exciting, too.

So I don't know.

I know Conor Mantz is in the field.

That Patrick Kiprock, Joe Klecker...

I don't know if they've announced the full elite field yet, but yeah, that'll be exciting.

And I don't know, I'll see your thoughts in a sec on the race of choice, but I kind of like it in that there's no pressure or expectancy to go and run a European record because he probably kind of recognises that, well, he's the European record holder for 10k and a half marathon and there would have been a lot of pressure on him to run a fast debut marathon.

I'd be keeping an eye on him.

Joe Klecker, first off is 205 in Boston for 13th there.

So that I just want to keep an eye on.

And then from others to keep an eye on.

I obviously like Almgren falls into a lot of the, like Norwegian style, like double threshold training.

Um, and while I do think that fitness translates to the marathon, it's not as marathon specific as, um, going in Boulder and running Magnolia Road really hard with Joe Klecker and Ryan Ford all the time.
