So it's just, you know, something I wake up every day just very grateful to be able to live a life as a musician.

Side Eye 3 features the core trio of you on guitar, Chris Fishman on keys, and Joe Dyson on drums.

But you've brought in a number of musicians to play on the sessions.

And more than 50 years ago, you were afforded the opportunity to play with one of your heroes in Gary Burton.

I go hear a lot of people because I'm kind of always looking for people.

And, you know, it's actually really hard for me to find people that kind of fit exactly what it is that I'm kind of looking for.

But what's great is that Chris Fishman and Joe Dyson in particular, I mean, the trio with those two guys, is one of the best groups I've ever had, just the three of us.

I mean, it's really special the way we can do whatever it is that we do.

You've got Joel Ross on vibes, Russian Carter on bass, Joe Dyson on drums, Marquise Hill on trumpet.

What a gorgeous, cool lineup.

And then you've got Urban Art Orchestra on strings.

But for the rest, it was just me going nuts, which again, crazy experience in my little homeless person studio in Brooklyn.

And I've heard, I talked with Joe Dyson on here about this, about jamming with Pat, which sounds very similar to what you are talking about.

What do you think he's listening for? Obviously, he wants to know what you can do.

Is he testing to see how flexible you are, what your ears are, how much you can pick up on? What kind of things do you think he's listening for in players when he spends that time?
